A More Sustainable Refrigeration

The newly refurbished FairPrice supermarket at Changi Airport is setting a green standard in refrigeration by using R448A, a next-gen refrigerant with a significantly lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) compared to the conventional R404A.

By adopting R448A, the supermarket reduces its environmental footprint, aligning with global efforts to combat climate change. This innovative refrigerant not only minimises greenhouse gas emissions but also reduces energy consumption.
